Rabbi Arye Sufrin
is a native of South Florida and currently serves as the Head of School for YULA Boys and YULA Girls in Los Angeles, where he is privileged to shape the schools’ educational vision, cultivate a culture of excellence, and teach Torah with passion and clarity. Widely regarded as a master mechanech, Rabbi Sufrin is respected for his thoughtful, visionary leadership and his ability to deliver shiurim that are both deeply inspiring and intellectually rigorous.
Rabbi Sufrin graduated with honors from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business and earned a Master’s Degree in Jewish Education and Administration from the Azrieli Graduate School of Education.
Prior to entering the world of chinuch, he worked in Audit at Deloitte and also served at the prestigious Beth Jacob Congregation in Beverly Hills as Assistant Rabbi and Rabbi of the Young Professionals Minyan-roles in which he distinguished himself as a dynamic Rav and community leader. Despite his significant leadership responsibilities, Rabbi Sufrin remains profoundly committed to teaching Torah. He regularly delivers shiurim, mentors students and families, and strives to ignite within each student a deep, personal, and enduring love of Yiddishkeit. Rabbi Sufrin and his wife, Tamar, are blessed with five children-Avigail, Eliana, Tzvi, Elisha, and Leora-and are grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Royal Passover Program.
